Instructions
Fig Caramelized Onion & Gorgonzola
1/ Preheat oven to 425 F.
2/ In a large skillet, sauté onion in oil, over medium high heat, stirring frequently, approximately 3 minutes. Lower heat to medium, add a pinch salt. Continue sautéing 10 minutes until onions begin to soften. Add balsamic vinegar, honey and pepper. Continue to cook about 3-4 more minutes, until balsamic vinegar reduces and onions caramelize. Set aside.
3/ Rub each separated OneBun with garlic, divide and sprinkle the mozzarella and gorgonzola cheeses, top with figs and onions and place on lined baking sheet. Bake for 7-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
4/ Remove from oven and sprinkle arugula over pizzas. Serve immediately.
Pesto Margherita
1/ Preheat oven to 425°F.
2/ Spoon 3-4 tsp tomato sauce on each separated OneBun half. Add fresh mozzarella cheese and top with sliced cherry tomatoes and small dollops of pesto. Place on prepared lined baking sheet.
3/ Bake for 7-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle with basil (optional).
